On the afternoon of September 21st, SUFE held a farewell party for newly recruited SUFE Students at the lecture hall of the Administration Building. Cong Shuhai, Chairperson of the University Council, Liu Yongzhang, Vice Chairperson of the University Council, Liu Lanjuan and Yao Linzheng, Vice President of SUFE and 23 newly enlisted SUFE students participated in the party.
Liu Yongzhang, Vice Chairperson of the University Council, on behalf of the SUFE Party committee, extended his sincere congratulations to 23 newly recruited soldiers, he pointed out that the military recruitment played a crucial role in the construction of national defense, it would also help to improve the quality of the military force.
He further stressed that the college students should promptly convert to their role of becoming a highly qualified soldier in the military with unwavering resolution and rigid adherance to obey the military regulations and put all their virtues and merits in full play.
Afterwards, representatives of the newly recruited students delivered speeches. They extended their cordial gratitude for this opportunity and they were committed to dedicate themselves to the armed forces and to uphold the peace in order to protect the motherland.
