On October 29th, Yao Linzhen, Vice President of SUFE met with Rhonda Lenton, the vice president of the University of York. The two sides signed an Agreement on Academic Cooperation and Student Exchange Program Agreement, which opened a new chapter in the cooperation between SUFE and the University of York.

Yao reviewed the exchanges between the two universities and the consensus the two sides reached and briefly introduced SUFE. She said that the central work of university should be talent cultivation as well as building a platform for learning and communication is also part of the talent training development. She was glad to see students of the two universities benefiting from the academic cooperation and student exchange projects, and hopes that comprehensive cooperation all fields can become deeper, wider, and higher.

Rhonda Lenton, vice president of the University of York gave an overview of the University of York, and hoped that the two universities would continue cooperation and exchanges in a wider field. She said, York University has long attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with the high level universities in China, and the cooperation between SUFE and the University of York has a good base and broad prospects. She was looking forward to closer and more extensive exchanges and cooperation in the future .
