The exhibition held on April 17th at SUFE's Zhongshan campus was part of the 15th International Culture Festival and was sponsored by the Shanghai Indonesian Student Union and the SUFE International Student Union. Students from various universities and colleges gathered to experience the unique charm of Indonesian culture.
Wang Ling, the Secretary of Party at the general branch of the School of International Cultural Exchange, addressed the exhibition. She extended her warm welcome to the students from home and abroad and encouraged theme to appreciate traditional Chinese culture.
The festival was divided into two sections: a cuisine exhibition, and an Indonesian art performance. The distinctly Indonesian food, handcrafts, and dancing performances all left students in awe. In particular, the fashion show complete with vibrant colors and cloth left a deep impression on students.
The exhibition was successful in building a mutual understanding of culture, but also fostered the friendship between Indonesian and Chinese students.
