On July 21st, Prof. Kees Koedijk, Dean of TIAS Business School, Tilburg University, visited SUFE and signed a Letter of Appointment with SUFE . Yao Lingzhen, Vice President of SUFE, Cheng Lin, Director of the Department of Human Resources and Director of the Office of Talents, Ju Jiandong, Dean of the School of International Business and Administration Rong Jun, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and Ju Heng Assistant President of the School of International Business Administration (SIBA) attended the signing ceremony.
Prof. Kees Koedijk had been Dean of TIAS Business School since 2012 and has a rich experience in business school management and disciplinary development. He is a well-known scholar in the field of applied economics. His research has mainly concentrated on macro and international finance, behavioral finance and responsible investment.
During the ceremony, On behalf of SUFE, Vice President Yao Lingzhen extended a warm welcome to prof. Koedijk Kees and reviewed the major landmarks that SUFE had been through in its 99-year history. She highlighted that internationalization has always been SUFE's strategy in all the stages of development and the key to excellence in both research and education. She expected that prof. Koedijk Kees will bring in his expertise and experience to enhance SUFE’s global reputation. Professor Koedijk Kees expressed his gratitude to SUFE’s invitation, and said that he was very honored to join SUFE.
Professor Kees Koedijk's visit marks a solid step for SIBA in the construction of the International Pilot School which is a program jointly supported by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the Ministry of Education, under the program of “Network of International Centers for Education in China (NICE in China)”. and it will promote the internationalization of teaching, research and management.
