On the afternoon of October 19th, China Public Finance Institute signed a cooperation agreement with Macquarie University. Professor Lorne Cummings, the Associate Dean of the Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance, Faculty of Business and Economics of Macquarie University visited SUFE to discuss on the details about future cooperation.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Fu Wenlin, Vice-Dean of the School of Public Economics and Management at SUFE. On behalf of SUFE, Li Hong, Director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, extended a warm welcome to Professor Lorne Cummings and looked forward to future cooperation. Professor Lorne Cummings and Professor Liu Xiaochuan, Executive Dean of the China Public Finance Institute gave brief introductions to their respective institutions. Professor Lorne Cummings, on behalf of Macquarie University, signed a cooperation agreement with the Executive Dean Liu Xiaochuan.
After the signing ceremony, the two sides further exchanged the details on their respective academic fields, teaching staff and other aspects of their programs, and made specific plans for future cooperation.
Yu Hong, Deputy Director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Hu Jing of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and Liu Yonghe, Director of the Office of China Public Finance Institute attended the meeting.
