On June 18th, the Lawn Music Festival marked the start of the graduation season. The season included a series of activities such as the Tongyuan Charity Bazaar, the Lawn Music Festival, and the Red Tile Building Lighting Ceremony, all of which attracted the attention and participation of students and teachers alike.
At 11:00 a.m., the Tongyuan Charity Bazaar was held on Green Leaf Pedestrian Street. Goods sold at the bazaar varied from postcards and handmade fans to candies and bracelets, all with a SUFE theme. The entire sales income was to be used to help SUFE alumni who are experiencing difficulties.
In the afternoon, the Wudong Sports Ground was crowded with students. Graduates brought second-hand goods to sell. After a time, the music festival began; songs selected by the graduates were presented at dusk. To the accompaniment of singing and dancing, the festival was filled with applause, laughter and music.
After the music festival, students and teachers gathered in front of the Red Tile Building. At 9:00 p.m, to the sound of hundreds of teachers and students counting down, shining lights spelled out “SUFE” across the facade of the building. Students used their phones and cameras to capture the moment.
