On May 29th, the final competition of the first SUFE’s Got Talent took place at the auditorium on Guoding Campus, appreciated by hundreds of students.
The talent show was held by the Schools of Finance, Economics, and Public Economics and Management, It aimed to provide a platform for students with outstanding performance talent and fuel the campus with an artistic atmosphere.
The preparation work for the talent show had already been completed during the winter vacation. Due to the publicity, a lot of students had signed up to take part in the show. Following the preliminary competition on May 11th, ten groups of students had been selected to compete in the final competition.
Starting with a video showing the background of the candidates, the final contest of the talent show kicked off. Students showed off their talents and brought the audience a visual feast. Performances such as “Beauty and Clown” dancing, cup dancing and a lovely song named I Sing You Sing conveyed the beauty and true essence of art.
Another attractive element during the show was the digital screen, which allowed students to interact with each other. The audience members sent their comments to the screen and within two hours the number of comments reached one thousand.
The concluding folk music performance String, Sword and Dancing, given by Li Feijiao and Xu Yaxin, won the first prize. I Sing You Sing and the piano performance Black and White won the second and third prizes respectively.
