On September 29th, the first SUFE Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest Inauguration Ceremony was held at the lecture hall of the School of International Business Administration. The guests invited to the ceremony included Wan Lijun, General Manager of Guan Sheng Yuan (Group) Co. Ltd，Zhu Ying, General Manager of Topway Computer Software Co., LTD, Liu Lanjuan, Vice President of SUFE, Dean of SUFE School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and other teachers. Song Dafei, Deputy Dean of School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation hosted the ceremony.
Firstly, Vice President Liu Lanjuan addressed the audience, describing how the first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest not only aimed at establishing a practical platform for business innovation but also served to set up connections with companies and attract capital funds for the effective operation of entrepreneurship .
Moreover, through the contest, SUFE will gradually construct a systematic mechanism for innovation education and in the meanwhile, it will further integrate the resources to conduct a comprehensive and eye-catching competition. The first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest was sponsored by Guan Shengyuan Co, Ltd. The cooperation between company and university will light up the enthusiasm of innovation and promote the creative spirit of SUFE students.
Wan Lijun, General Manager of Guan Shengyuan delivered a speech concerned with “the Innovation and Reform of State-owned Enterprise”. He states that the traditional industries need to be transformed as the internet and economy develop. The State-owned Enterprises should search for innovative talents to attract and unite them to help to transform the state-owned capital into vigorous social innovative resources. He also encouraged the students to not be limited by what had been done and to “regard sickness as a mentor and difficulty as a friend”.
And finally, four students presented their entrepreneurial project and Song Dafei announced the regulation and rules of the contest.
