The flag-raising ceremony was held at SUFE to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the May 4th Movement. 215 participants, including school league committee members and students wearing red T-shirts, presented at the main entrance of Guoding Campus.
During the ceremony, the flag-raisers were veteran students who were once excellent soldiers in the army, they walked toward the flag platform with majesty and dignity. As the flag was raised, the participants sang national anthem.
Lu Qincheng, a student representative of SUFE attended the flag-raising ceremony and delivered the speech to shed some light on the responsibilities that the new generation should carry on their shoulders.
In the end, students sung some inspiring chants to pay tribute to all who have dedicated themselves selflessly to the development of China.
