SUFE July 3rd, 2015 (10:00am) -- The undergraduate military training parade was held in the courtyard of Wu Dong Road Campus. Vice President of SUFE Liu Lanjuan, Minister of the Training Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army 91150 Colonel Zhao Xu, chairpersons from schools who are in charge of student work, and leaders from various departments were all in attendance.
At the start of the parade, Liu Lanjuan accompanied by Yu Xinliang (the head of one of the teams), took roll and were greeted enthusiastically by all 17 teams who had gathered in their neat and upright posture and formations. Thereafter, they conducted a march-past performance which won them much applause for their controlled pace and boisterous chants.
On behalf of SUFE, Liu Lanjuan expressed gratitude to all of the instructors and school staff who participated in the ceremony, and congratulated the students on the accomplishing their military training. It was not only a grueling physical exercise, but also a way to inherit our revolutionary heritage and a spiritual baptism. Liu hoped that the students could apply the good habits that they formed during their training to their personal life and studies, and urged them to always adhere to the motto, Strive for virtue and knowledge to better serve our country and our kind.” Only this way can we continue to improve and make contributions to our society.
The parade ended in warm applause.
