On the morning of October 29, the 33rd Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) Sports Games opened at Wudong Stadium. University administrators Xu Tao, Liu Yuanchun, Zhu Mingxiong, He Pengcheng, Liu Liya, Liu Qingsheng, Cao Dongbo, Chu Hua, and the principal of SUFE Affiliated Yangpu District Guoan Road Primary School Bian Songquan, the heads of schools ( departments, institutes, and ministries) and functional departments, as well as representatives of teachers and students attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu Qingsheng, vice president of SUFE.
President Liu Yuanchun delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. First of all, he reviewed the in-depth implementation of the reform of SUFE physical education curriculum in the past year, and gave affirmation to the important role of physical education in “five education”, the continuous increase of the pass rate of physical fitness test, the implementation of the coverage of the whole section of physical education teaching, the excellent performance of the students in domestic and international competitions, and wished all athletes to carry forward the Olympic spirit of “Higher, Faster, Stronger”, and wished this year's school games a complete success.
Afterwards, student athlete representative Ye Ling, faculty athlete representative Zhang Cheng, and referee representative Liu Jun took the oath.

Mr. Dong Minkai, Deputy Director of the Physical Education Department, presided over the entrance ceremony. Representatives of all schools, departments, institutes, staff and the students of the primary school formed square formations and took the stage in a cheerful marching song, showing the positive, sunny and healthy spirit of teachers and students of SUFE.
The Sports Games were divided into student and staff groups, with nearly 900 students and more than 500 staff participating. In addition to the traditional track and field events, there is no lack of fun-filled students thirty thirty-one foot race, staff six obstacle course, basketball, frisbee, darts, long rope and other fun sports.
After the opening ceremony, the students' collective project “thirty people, thirty-one feet” speed race was the first to start, teammates stood side by side, raising their hands to convey the deepest support and encouragement.

The starting gun went off, the track and field events started immediately, and the arena was instantly lit up with passion. Students and faculty athletes will compete in 15 competitions, including long and short distance running, relay running, high jump, long jump and shot put.
On the green field, the colorful flags are fluttering, every inch of air is filled with the breath of youth, and every figure is leaping with the beat of vitality. Here, the blue sky as a curtain, white clouds as a companion, sweat and laughter intertwined, dreams and passion collision.
