On October 16, Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President of National Economics University, Haoni, Vietnam, led a delegation to visit SUFE. He Pengcheng, Deputy Chairperson of the University Council of SUFE, met with the guests, and Yang Youzhi, Deputy Director of the Department of International Office, presided over the talks.
He Pengcheng firstly welcomed the visit of Vice President Nguyen Thanh Hieu and the delegation. He briefly introduced the basic situation of the university, mentioning that the cooperation between the two sides in the student exchange program has begun to bear fruit. He said that under the background of China's university education reform, artificial intelligence, digital economy and other emerging disciplines are developing rapidly, the two sides should follow the trend of the times to further deepen the existing cooperation and work together to expand more areas of cooperation.
Nguyen Thanh Hieu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of SUFE. He briefly introduced the scale, faculties and majors of NEU, focused on the achievements of the university's internationalization development, and expressed that the students showed great interest in the exchange program of the university, and hoped to establish a deeper cooperative relationship with SUFE in short-term exchange of students, exchange of faculty members, and other aspects.
Afterwards, the two sides jointly reviewed the implementation of the existing student exchange programs and reached a preliminary consensus on the intention to cooperate in future short-term student exchange programs and scientific research. NEU Ta Van Loi, Dean of the School of Business, Do Thi Hai Ha, Dean of the School of Economics and Public Administration, Le Trung Thanh, Dean of the School of International Economics and Management, Vu Van Ngoc, Dean of the School of Higher Education, Ha Thi Quynh Anh, staff member of International Office, and Tran Thi Thanh Ha, staff member of the Office of Academic Affairs, and SUFE Dong Jing, Dean of the School of International Cultural Exchange, Shen Hui, Dean of the School of International Education, and Sun Qi, Associate Dean of the School of Business attended the meeting.
After the meeting, the delegation visited SUFE History Museum.
