From November 20th to 21st,The first International Business Simulation Competition for International Students was held on campus.

The competition was organized by the Shanghai Education International Exchange Association and hosted by the SUFE School of International Cultural Exchange. It was also the first Cesim Elite event catering to the international student community in China.

The competition attracted 223 students from 56 countries and 17 universities to participate. Among them, 20 teams from 15 universities stood out from the preliminary round and advanced to the finals. In the end, the team "Sleeping on the Floor Today is to Become a Boss Tomorrow" from SUFE, won the championship. Teams from Beijing Jiao Tong University and SUFE won the Best Teamwork Award and Best Creativity Award respectively, while Zhejiang University was awarded the title of Best Institutional Organization.

On the morning of November 20th, the opening ceremony of the finals was held at SUFE. Yao Lingzhen, Vice President of SUFE, Jiang Haishan, President of Shanghai Education International Exchange Association, Dong Jing, Dean of SUFE School of International Cultural Exchange , Veijo Kyösti, Global CEO of CESIM, as well as 20 team members, mentors, and observation members from 15 universities across the country, as well as competition organizing committee teachers and volunteers, participated in the opening ceremony.

Vice President Yao Lingzhen first extended a warm welcome on behalf of SUFE. As the first business university established in the history of Chinese education, SUFE hopes to host the International Business Simulation Competition for international students, to build an exchange and learning platform for national students studying in China, and to improve their professional skills, cross-cultural communication skills, and team spirit.

President Jiang Haishan, on behalf of the organizers, expressed sincere gratitude to universities for their strong support and positive responses from international students. He stated that the association's hosting of business simulation competitions was the first time, and it is of great significance to carry out such competitions among international students. He hopes that all teams participating in the finals can compete with the greatest enthusiasm and the most positive attitude, challenge themselves and achieve team success.

Veijo Kyösti expressed gratitude to the organizers and SUFE for their strong support. He said the the Cesim Elite event is of great significance in the current age. The competition effectively promoted knowledge complementarity and interdisciplinary collaboration, and helped cultivate interdisciplinary talents through diversified cooperation, thus enabling participants to enhance their all-round capabilities in the business field.


The simulation competition will take place on the 20th, and the team's business demonstration took place on the 21st. The contestants cooperated with each other, constantly explored and overcame many difficulties and challenges in the competition, fully demonstrating their creativity and business wisdom.

After two days of intense competition, the final of the first International Business Simulation Competition for International Students in China came to an end on the evening of the 21st.This competition is not only a business simulation competition, but also provides a platform for international students to showcase themselves, exchange ideas, and broaden their horizons.
