On July 25th, AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ) officially announced that the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics passed AACSB certification.
On the same day, Robert D. Reid ,the Chief Accreditation Officersent a congratulatory letter to Luo Yuding the Executive Deputy Dean of College of Business. The letter wrote: high-quality business education is critical to the cultivation of the next generation of leaders. During the accreditation, the College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics not only completely met the rigorous standards of outstanding business education, but also made the firm commitment to continual innovation and improvement facing the future. The letter praised the great contribution that SUFE College of Business had made, and send appreciation to school staff and students during the accredation.
Since March 2011 , SUFE College of Business has officially became a member of AACSB. After six years of efforts, The College established management system in accordance with the rules of business education, AACSB recognized the system in three aspects of mission practice, inheritance & innovation and social influence.
Thus, the College has passed two international business certifications: AMBA and AACSB certification, and become the first the five leading business schools that had passed China high quality certification MBA (CAMEA)
Founded in 1916, AACSB is one of the three international business certification organizations. At present, there are over 1,500 member organizations and more than 785 accredited business schools worldwide.
