On June 6th, Kristel Baele, President of the Erasmus University Rotterdam led a delegation to visit Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and renew the intercollegiate cooperation memorandum of understanding with SUFE. Rotterdam mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb and Holland Deputy Consul General in Shanghai Ms. Ou Yalin also attended the signing ceremony.
The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Yao Lingzhen. President Fan Liming extended warm welcome to the delegation. She pointed out that Shanghai and Rotterdam are twin cities, Erasmus University and SUFE are sister schools. The exchange between two city and two schools are very close in recent years, the cooperation is also very friendly. At the SUFE centennial anniversary year, the mayor of Rotterdam and the president of Erasmus University visited our school, we felt honored. In retrospect, the two schools in fields of economics, management and law to carry out cooperation exploration in personnel training, scientific research, the communication between teachers and students in economics, management and law. Especially, in recent years， in the two-way exchange, students MBA+X double degree programs, case study, joint training and other cases both sides have achieved fruitful results. She hoped that the two sides continue the friendly cooperation to provide better service for the teachers and students, and to make efforts and contributions to the development of the Shanghai and Rotterdam.
Erasmus University Rotterdam President Kristel Baele reviewed more than 30 years of the friendship between SUFE and Erasmus University Rotterdam and the gratifying results both schools achieved in personnel training, scientific research cooperation, library data sharing etc. She learned that law schools of both sides are working together to explore and have reached a preliminary consensus, and was looking forward to the two schools to carry out substantive cooperation in the field of law economics management on the basis of good cooperation. She expressed great pleasure in renewing the cooperation agreement with the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and hoped that both sides would work together to promote further cooperation and development. Make positive efforts to promote cooperation between both sides She also expressed sincere gratitude to those who have made exploration in the cooperation between the two sides and extended congratulations to the centennial celebration of SUFE.
Then, President Fan Liming and President Kristel Baele,on behalf of the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding.

He pointed out that the principle of the exchange is to become friends, become a big family, and scientific cooperation is to promote mutual learning and understanding, promote economic and cultural prosperity, so that human progress to reach a new height. He said he was honored to witness the signing ceremony of the two schools, he that learned the cooperation has achieved fruitful results, he believes that the exchanges and cooperation of two universities, two cities and two countries will become better and better!
After the meeting, representatives of the school of both sides also exchanged and discussed master's 1+1+1 project, scientific research cooperation and other matters.
