Born in Shanghai in 1956. Current vice secretary of the SUFE committee, chairman of the university union, and professor at SUFE. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics in July 1983 from the Department of Industrial Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He then pursued advanced studies at the Chicago Illinois University, US, from January 1995 to June 1995, and graduated with a master's degree in economics from the Finance Institute of SUFE in January 1997, specializing in Money and Banking. From 1985 to 1997, he served various positions, including secretary of the Youth League Committee, director of student affairs, Standing Committee member, and head of the Department of Organization. He obtained his current post in September 1997. Apart from giving lectures in Management, he composed Marketing Management of Commercial Banks, and Thoughts on the Development of Shanghai's Financing Market.
