Born in 1970 in Suixi, Anhui. Member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor of Science, professor of industrial economics, and doctoral supervisor. Current president of SUFE and vice secretary of SUFE committee，and vice chair of Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations. Main research interests include game theory and information economics, the theory of industrial organization, and the theory and practice of antitrust and competition policy.
Studied at the Department of Mathematics, Anhui University, from September 1988 to July 1995, where he received a bachelor's and master's degree. From September 1995, he commenced study at the Institute of Mathematics, Fudan University, where he received a doctorate in science in June 1998. He received a teaching post at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in July 1998; was promoted to associate professor in June 1999; promoted to professor in June 2004 and appointed as doctoral supervisor in industrial economics in December the same year. He engaged in postdoctoral research in applied economics at SUFE from August 1999 to April 2002, and then became a senior visiting scholar in the Department of Economics, University of Southampton, England, from March 2002 to August 2002. He became a visiting professor at the University of Southern California, US, from April 2009 to July 2009. He served various posts, including deputy director of the Department of Economic Information Management, deputy director the graduate faculty, director of the finance department, executive vice president of the International Business Management College, and assistant president and executive vice president of the graduate school of SUFE. He was appointed as a Standing Committee member and vice president of SUFE in December 2013. He was appointed president of SUFE and vice secretary of SUFE committee in December 2017.
