Copenhagen Business School and SUFE sign a cooperation agreement

Recently, SUFE and the Copenhagen Business School signed a framework cooperation agreement and student exchange agreement.


After signing the agreement, the two universities will select students for regular exchange from the spring semester of 2020. The universities will continue to strengthen exchanges in order to seek joint development.


Copenhagen Business School is SUFE’s first partner in Denmark. As one of the top business schools in Europe, it has been committed to expanding the frontier of academic research, attaching great importance to research of high academic impact and social practical value. Copenhagen Business School has established a network of cooperative institutions in Europe and around the world, and has successfully practiced cross-cultural communication and international talent cultivation. SUFE’s high research level, academic reputation and excellent faculty made us the most ideal partner for Copenhagen Business School. The cooperation between the two universities focuses on advantageous majors and is a new development in the program, “Global SUFE”. It will promote innovative talent cultivation, high level research and faculty communication and consolidation of academic peaks in leading disciplines such as Business and Finance.


The two universities agreed that Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Copenhagen Business School have similar histories, majors and the same cooperation goals. The cooperation between the two universities has a good foundation and a bright future, especially under China’s “Belt and Road” and European development strategy. The cooperation will provide business education with a broader way and promising prospects.


Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was first established in 1917. It is located in Copenhagen, and is the largest business school in Northern Europe. It has the certification of AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS and enjoys a global reputation. Its Business and Management ranked 15 in the world according to the QS Rankings while the program of Financial Master ranked 17. Also, Accounting and Finance ranked 51-100 while Social Science and Management ranked 63. In addition, the program of Management for Master’s degree ranked 38 in 2018 according to the Financial Times. In 2019, its major of Business and Economics ranked 35 in the world according to Times Higher Education. The university's partners in China include Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiaotong University.
